Akuressa shooting : Businessman targeted by gunmen

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A shooting took place along the Akuressa - Galle main road at around 2am today (Aug 27th) The shooting took place in close proximity to the Bodiraja Viharaya. According to the Police 2 gunmen who arrived on a motorbike had opened fire at a businessman that was travelling in a car. The businessman had been returning home when the incident occurred. No one was injured in the incident. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
