1 dead, 37 injured in Badulla bus crash

COLOMBO (News 1st) - One person died and 37 others suffered injuries when a SLTB bus fell into a 75-foot precipice in Alugolla, Badulla. The accident occurred at around 8.30 this morning (August 27). The bus had been plying from Kandegedara to Badulla at the time of the accident. The deceased has been identified as a 12-year-old boy and the injured have been admitted to the Badulla hospital. A hospital spokesperson said, that 4 people who had sustained injuries are in critical condition.
