Three-wheel and train collision claims a life

Colombo (News1st) - An individual died when the three-wheeler he was traveling in collided with a train at the Wanawasla railway crossing. The accident occurred when the three-wheeler attempted to cross the level crossing ignoring morning signals of an oncoming train. The three-wheeler collided with the Nightmail train which was traveling from Medawachchiya to Colombo Fort. The body of the deceased has been handed over to the Maradana Railway Station. Two passengers who were in the three-wheeler at the time of the accident suffered injuries and admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
