Eight Indian fishermen arrested off Kalpitiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Eight Indian fishermen who violated the Sri Lankan maritime boundary have been arrested off the coast of Kadiramale, Kalpitiya by the Sri Lanka Navy. The suspects aged between 18 and 55 years are residents of Tamilnadu. Commander Dinesh Bandara noted that the suspects were handed over to the Puttalam Fisheries Office for further investigations.
