Staff at Embilipitiya hospital launch a one day strike

Colombo (News 1st) - The Junior Staff of the Embilipitiya Hospital launched a one-day strike today (August 16).
The protest was against the shortage of the staff at the Hospital. According to trade unions, there are over 100 vacancies at the Embilipitiya hospital.
The strike action had been launched to highlight their issues as well as the inaction of officials to fill these vacancies.
