Fire destroys 25 boats used for sand mining operations

COLOMBO (News 1st) - 25 boats docked in close proximity to the Manampitiya Bridge in Polonnaruwa have been destroyed in a suspected act of arson.
A spokesperson for the police said these boats were used in sand mining operations.
The Polonnaruwa Police is conducting further investigations into this incident.
