One arrested for illegally transporting timber

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The police has taken into custody a stock of timber worth around Rs 1.2 million while en route to Kamburugamuwa from Denipitiya. One suspect has been arrested. The raid was conducted by the Matara Police based on a tip-off. The suspect is to be produced before the Matara magistrates court.
