Automatic firearm discovered in Awisawella

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two suspects were arrested in close proximity to the Ukwatte public cemetery in Awisawella today (Aug 8th) for possession of an automatic firearm. Police discovered the firearm and a magazine when searching a three-wheeler, based on a tip-off received. The driver of the three-wheeler is among the arrested suspects. The two suspects aged 26 and 30 are residents of Avissawella
