Heroin worth Rs. 200,000 seized in Galnewa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An individual in possession of  Rs 200,000 of heroin has been arrested. The heroin was packed in 150 packets. A police spokesperson said the suspect who resides in Piliyandala was arrested close to Galnewa town. The suspect had intended to sell the heroin in Galnewa and Bulnewa. The suspect will be produced in the Kekirawa Magistrates Court today (August 06) along with the heroin.
