Explosion near the Bologna airport

An enormous explosion occurred near the Bologna Airport in Italy this evening.
According to the Italian police, the explosion had been caused by an accident on the highway.
Several social media users captured footage of the massive explosion which showed a massive fireball bursting into the sky.
