Tax on imported gold to decrease

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Gem and Jewellery Authority states they are planning on reducing the tax imposed on imported gold from 15% to 7.5%. The Chairman of the National Gem and Jewellery Authority Peshala Jayarathne said the proposal regarding this has already been presented to the President.
