Prof. Colvin Gunaratne steps down as Chairman of SLMC

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Professor Colvin Gunaratne has stepped down from the position of Chairman of the Sri Lankan Medical Council.
A spokesperson for the Health Ministry stated that he had submitted his letter of resignation this morning (August 02) to Health Minister Rajitha Senarathne.
Professor Colvin Gunaratne took up office as the Chairman of the Sri Lankan Medical Council in October 2017.
