COLOMBO (News 1st) – 180 projects apart of the Polonnaruwa development programme was vested with the public under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena.

The ceremony, which will see 180 projects vested in the public will go on for a period of 3 days commencing from today (August 01).

A new building for the Divulankadawala Central College in Medirigiriya was handed over to the students today (August 01).

Addressing those gathered the President stated that every district has been divided to ensure balanced development and that we don’t look into our parents’ wellbeing enough.

“We must make sure that our children are safe as they use mobile phones” continued the President.
