Water cut at 9 am in Biyagama North and surrounding suburbs

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A water cut is scheduled for 9 am today (July 31) which will be in effect in Biyagama north and surrounding suburbs. A spokesperson for the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the interruption will be in effect for 15 hours. The water cut will be in effect to allow mandatory maintenance work on the distribution system which supplies water to the Biyagama Free Trade Zone. The Grama Niladhari divisions of Siyambalapewatta, Alubowila, Delgoda, Akurumulla, Kanduboda, Ulahitiwala, Walgama, Yabaraluwa, Malwana, Dompe, Naamaluwa, Dekatana, Narampala and Galwalaboda will be affected due to the interruption in water supply.
