3 arrested for possession of Kush

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three people have been arrested by the Police Special Task Force in Colombo for the possession of the drug Kush which is a strain of Cannabis Indica. A spokesperson for the Police STF stated that the arrest had been made on a tip-off that was received at noon yesterday. (July 30) Eight grams of Kush that was found in the possession of the suspects has been sent to the Police Narcotics Bureau for investigation purposes. The spokesperson added that the suspects were arrested in Horton Place and Welikada. This drug is predominantly used by the upper echelon of society.
