COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Railway station masters association says that they will be launching a strike action from midnight today (July 30).

Chairman of the Association Janaka Fernando said that strike was launched against the failure of Government to implement solutions to salary anomalies which had been approved by cabinet.

He added that Railway supervisors, controllers, and drivers will be joining their strike action.
