Search continues for missing 10 year old

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Operations are underway for the 7th consecutive day in search of a 10-year-old boy who was reported missing from Samanalawatta area in Balangoda. Sahan Kumara Darmasiri, a grade 5 student of the Samanalawatte Vidyalaya was reported missing on the 20th of this month when he left in search of his father who had gone to cut firewood. The father had later arrived at his house without having met the child. Although the Police had initiated an investigation to find the missing child, they have not been able to obtain any leads.
