Bus accident injures 18 in Punewa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An accident involving a CTB bus that occurred along the A9 road in close proximity to the Punewa navy base has left 18 people injured.
According to the Police Spokesperson, the injured which included 5 women were admitted to the Vavuniya hospital.
The accident was reported to be a result of the driver falling asleep at the wheel.
