One person killed in motor accident in Theldeniya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An individual was killed in a motor accident in the Theldeniya area along the Mahiyanganaya - Kandy main road. The News 1st correspondent in the area stated that the accident had occurred when a motorbike and a lorry collided. The deceased was identified as a 29-year-old resident of the Hasalaka area in Mahiyanganaya named Amal Pushpa Kumara. The driver of the lorry has been arrested and will be produced before the Theldeniya Magistrate Court today.
