Phase 4 of Central Expressway to India?

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the Government is in discussions with the Indian Government with regard to phase 4 of the central expressway. The Central Expressway is being constructed under 4 phases. Phase 4 deals with the stretch of the expressway from Colombo to Meerigama. Speaking at an event at the Sri Sudarshanama Raja Maha Viharaya in Bopitiya, the premier noted construction work on the second phase of the Expressway is already underway The Prime Minister noted that the aim of the development of these road networks is to bring everyone closer to Colombo.
