COLOMBO (News 1st) – Prime Minister of Thailand General Prayut Chan-o-cha will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (July 12) on a two-day official visit upon an invitation extended by President Maithripala Sirisena.
He will be received by President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat and accorded an official guard of honor and gun salute.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, four instruments of trade will be signed by the two nations and negotiations for a possible Free Trade Agreement will be launched during the visit.
General Prayut Chan-o-cha is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and visit Kandy during his visit.
