National Chamber of Commerce to boost business ties with China

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - The National Chamber of Commerce today (July 10) signed an agreement with China Federation & Industrial Economics and Harirong Investment International Pvt Ltd to promote business ties between Sri Lanka and China. The National Chamber of Commerce has already been accepted as a member of the Belt and Road Industrial & Commercial Alliance. Managing Director of the Harirong Investment International Pvt Ltd, Dr. Palitha Kohona speaking at the event highlighted the importance of investments for a country to progress. You can generate investments with your own reserves or you can generate surplus through trade, said Dr. Kohona adding that both of them do not seem to be happening now.
