F1 teams name drivers for eSports series

REUTERS - The first ever F1 eSports Pro Draft took place on Monday (July 9) in London, England with all nine Formula One team choosing their drivers for the upcoming second series. F1 teams have joined the eSports series for what will be its second season, in order to try and win both the drivers' and teams' eSports Championship. The Pro Draft saw more than 66,000 gamers cut to a pool of just 40 with teams having the chance to judge their potential drivers over three days. The newly formed teams of three will compete in a three-day event championship in autumn on the unreleased F1 2018 game, with a prize fund of $200,000 (US) dollars for the winners.
