COLOMBO (News 1st) - State Minister of Child Affairs Vijayakala Maheswaran has resigned from her portfolio.
The United National Party Spokesperson Minister Harin Fernando confirmed this to News 1st. He added that the letter of resignation has been handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
