Previous administration crossed the limit - Basil Rajapaksa

COLOMBO (News 1st) - During an event held in Galle, former Minister Basil Rajapaksa spoke of the difference between the current regime and the previous regime. While emphasizing the importance of not moving away from the right to information, media freedom and freedom of movement, the former minister reminisced about certain actions of the previous administration. He accepted that there were shortcomings within the previous administration and that there were occasions when they crossed the limit. Highlighting the incidents that transpired in Rathupaswela, Chilaw and at the Katunayake free trade zone, Basil Rajapaksa said that they cannot repeat such acts.   Watch Video for more.
