Postal workers continue strike

Colombo (News1st) - Postal workers have decided to launch a continuous strike action in protest against the recruitment criteria. Convenor of the Postal Trade union Collective, Chinthaka Bandara noted that postal workers from across the island will join this trade union action. Distribution of letters and parcels, as well as the transportation of cargo, will be affected due to the trade union action. Post-Master General Rohan Abeyratne commenting on the trade union action stated that they have taken all steps to meet the demands of the postal workers.
