SL Men's relay team win big at 18th Asian Junior Athletic Championship

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - The Sri Lankan Men's relay team won the Gold Medal in the 4x400, while the women's team clinched the Bronze in the same event at the 18^th Asian Junior Athletic Championships (AJAC). The 18^th Junior Athletics Championship is currently being held in Gifu, Japan. The Sri Lankan 4x400 Men's team consisting of Pabasara Nikhu, Pasindu Kodikara, Ravishka Indrajith and Aruna Darshana was able to clock 3 minutes and 8.70 seconds in the race. The Women's team consisting of Ishara Adhithya, Sachini Divyanjali, Dilshi Kumarasinghe and Amasha De Silva won the bronze recording the time of 3 minutes and 45.16 seconds.
