Fomer Chief Executive Officer of SAITM arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Former Chief Executive Officer of the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) Dr. Sameera Senaratne was arrested by the CID when he arrived to provide a statement. Last year, shots were fired at his car near SAITM and he was summoned to the CID to record a statement over the matter. Senaratne was produced before the Kaduwela Magistrates Court and was remanded until the 14th of June.
