Palitha Range Bandara's son arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Yashoda Range Bandara, son of State Minister Palitha Range Bandara has been arrested. Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said he was arrested while receiving treatment at the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital. SP Gunasekara said he was arrested under the charges of driving under the influence, causing a motor accident and the misuse of state property. Four people including Yashodha Range Bandara sustained injuries due to a motor accident near the Kottapitiya junction in Aarachchikattuwa on Wednesday (June 6).
