COPE and COPA to receive new Chairpersons

Colombo (News1st) - New chairpersons are to be appointed to the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) and the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) today (May 7th).

The tenure of these committees came to an end following the first session of the new parliament. Earlier JVP MP Sunil Handunetti headed COPE while Deputy Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna headed COPA.
