Sri Lanka to face strong winds over the next 48 hours

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The MET Department states windy condition over the island and around sea areas can be expected until May 31. Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western Provinces and in Galle and Matara Districts. The department added light showers can be expected in Mannar and Jaffna Districts. Fairly strong gusty winds of up to 50 kmph can be expected over the island. Particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and North-central Provinces and in Galle and Matara Districts.
