Sirasa Shakthi Sahana Yathra begins collecting goods

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Many generous Sri Lankan's have been bringing in relief items to the Sirasa Shakthi Sahana Yathra as aid for the victims of the adverse weather. Relief items for the Sahana Yathra are being collected at three locations. They are, the Head Office of The Capital Maharaja Organization Limited in Braybrooke Place, Colombo 2, Stein Studio Complex in Ratmalana and the Depanama Studio Complex. Maliban Biscuit Manufactories (Pvt) Limited came forward to join hands with the Sirasa Shakthi Sahana Yathra in a bid to provide relief to the people who are in affected areas.  They donated biscuits and food items to the Sahana Yathra. The Managing Director of Maliban Biscuit Manufactories (Pvt) Limited Mrs. Kumudika Fernando, the Group CEO Mr. Ravi Jayawardena and other officials handed over the goods this afternoon at the Maliban head office located in Ratmalana. The Channel head of News 1st Suranga Senanayake, Channel Head of TV1 Rinaz Mohammed and other officials were present at the event. In addition to the main three collecting centers News 1st took steps to collect donations at other locations as well. The items that are being collected for the Sirasa Shakthi Sahana Yathra are,
