COLOMBO (News 1st) – Former minister Mervyn Silva convened a media briefing in Colombo, today (May 9).

The former minister claims that even though he complained to the CID about the wrongdoings of the previous government, the CID has not recorded evidence from him even after a lapse of 3 years. He urged everyone to help him find a set of people who will take action against the wrongdoings of the previous government.

“…We all know that the wasp is a very docile creature, but if you disturb its peace, you will immediately be admitted to the hospital. Even the bee is like that, but we still manage to penetrate the beehive… Mervyn Silva is also like that,” Silva added.

Mervyn Silva went on to say he won’t be vociferous like in the past but that does not mean he will not take action adding that he is in the process of formulating a plan.
