One injured following explosion in Kolonna, Embilipitiya

Colombo (News1st) - According to the Police, one person was injured in an explosion took place at a shop in the Buluthota area in Kolonna, Embilipitiya. The incident in question took place at around 9.30pm on Sunday (May 6th) and the injured victim has been admitted to the Embilipitiya hospital. Two shops and a house in the area were also damaged in the explosion. An SLTB bus that belongs to the Godakawela depot and a three-wheeler that had been parked at the location also suffered damages. The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained, however, the police believe that it could have been the result of an electricity leak.
