SriLankan Airlines ordered to submit documents to Presidential Commission

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The presidential commission appointed to look into alleged fraud and malpractices at SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lankan Catering and Mihin Lanka has ordered the institutions to submit relevant information and documents during the period from January 2006 to January 2018. According to the official Government news portal, the commission has also taken steps to obtain information from the banks that operated with SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lankan Catering and Mihin Lanka. The presidential commission has been tasked with determining whether there has been any misconduct in SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lankan Catering and Mihin Lanka over the past 12 years.
