COLOMBO (News 1st) – Preparations are underway at Braybrooke Street in Colombo where the Sirasa – Union Assurance Vesak Zone will be held for three consecutive days.

The Sacred Relics that will be placed at the Vesak zone will be carried from three Temples in a motorcade.The Sarvagna Relics of the  Sandagiri Seya which will be placed at the Vesak zone are being transported from the Tissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya.

The Sacred Relics were taken to the Pallebedda Sankapala Raja Maha Viharaya yesterday (April 26) and were placed in a motorcade to be brought to the Vesak Zone, following religious observances.

The Sirasa – Union Assurance Vesak Zone will take place from April 29 to May 1, at Braybrooke Place in Colombo 2.
