Postal activities hampered

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Trade Unions point out that postal activities have been hampered due to a failure of the computer network system at the Postal Department. Convenor of Postal Joint Trade Union Federation, Chinthaka Vithanage, said the system that connects postal offices and sub postal offices has failed. Vithanage noted that as result of the failure of the system accepting and transferring of money orders has been hampered.
