COLOMBO (News 1st) – A group of backbenchers of the UNP met with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe this morning (April 25), to discuss party reforms.

The meeting was held at Temple Trees and 20 UNP MPs attended the meeting. During the discussion, the MPs have stated that they require a complete restructuring in the party.

A number of hours after the meeting with the Prime Minister, the UNP made several key appointments.
