COLOMBO (News 1st) - The United National Party reforms committee is set to reconvene today (April 25), at Temple Trees. Deputy Minister Ajith P. Perera said that a final decision on party reforms is expected to be taken at today's meeting. The UNP Reforms Committee convened at Temple Trees yesterday (April 24) as well. The UNP reforms committee was appointed by the working committee of the United National Party following the UNP's abysmal performance at the local government polls in February and growing calls for changes in the party by UNP backbenchers in the lead up to the vote on the No confidence motion brought in against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe by the Joint Opposition.
