COLOMBO (News 1st) - Who is Kithsiri Rajapaksa? Kithsiri Rajapaksa Kithsiri Rajapaksa is the Colombo Urban Councilor. Newspapers reported today of a New Year celebration held in Maradana under the auspices of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. The event was organised by Municipal Councillor Kithsiri Rajapaksa. Soon after the vote on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Rajapaksa was seen close to Prime Minister Wickremesinghe at the Gangarama Temple in Colombo. Following vote on the NCM, massive hoardings extending wishes to the Prime Minister were put up around Colombo. It was an initiative spearheaded by Rajapaksa. Kithsiri Rajapaksa was once arrested by the Terrorist Investigations Division.
