Horana Tragedy: Final rites of another victim performed

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - The final rites of another victim who died following an accident at a rubber factory in Horana, was performed today. On the 19^th of this month, two employees of the factory and three area residents died after being exposed to Ammonia gas. 34-year-old Dilip Kasun was an area resident who attempted rescue an employee at the factory at the time of the incident. The final rites for Dilip Kasun were observed today at the public cemetery in Horana. Another individual who was exposed to the Ammonia gas is continuing to receive treatment at the Horana Base Hospital.
