COLOMBO (News 1st) – Thiwanka Ranasinghe won the bronze medal in the semi final round of the men’s 46-49 kg boxing event at the 2018 commonwealth games. Ranasinghe was bested by England’s Galal Yafai who advanced to the final.
Sri Lanka is currently placed 27th. in the overall medals standing with one silver and four bronze medals. Australia leads the table with a total medal tally of 159 including 63 Gold, 46 Silver and 50 Bronze medals.
