President appoints acting ministers

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four acting ministers were appointed by the president today (April 12), until a full cabinet reshuffle takes places. The appointments include: Dr. Sarath Amunugama as Minister of Skills Development, Vocational Training and Science and Technology. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya as Minister of Disaster Management. Faiszer Musthapha as Minister of Sports. Malik Samarawickrama as Minister of Social Empowerment and Kandyan Heritage as well as Minister of Labour Relations. The four new ministers will take up the new appointments in addition to their current portfolios.
