COLOMBO (News 1st) - Seven new Governors were sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena this morning.
Hemakumara Nanayakkara was sworn in as the new Governor for the Western Province.
K.C Logeswaran was appointed the Governor of the North Western Province.
Niluka Ekenanayake was sworn in as Governor of the Sabaragamuwa Province.
Reginold Cooray took oaths as Governor of the Central Province.
Marshal Perera was sworn in as Governor for the Southern Province.
M.P Jayasinghe was sworn in as Governor for the North Central Province.
Finally, P.B Dissanayake was appointed Governor of the Uva Province.
