"Cabinet reshuffle to take place before Sinhala and Tamil New Year" - Min. Gamini Perera

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Following the cabinet meeting, Minister of Buddha Sasana, Gamini Jayawickrama Perera spoke to media. Speaking to media he said there will be a cabinet reshuffle before the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Minister Gamini Jayawickrama Perera said:

"...The UNP ministers arrived here today. We cordially discussed matters with the president. We did not cast aside a single cabinet proposal just because the others did not come today. Everything was approved. We will further discuss serious matters. A decision is to be reached today, following discussions with the president and party leaders on the process of the government and who will be by the president's side. We are prepared to work with the group that is with the president, and there will be a cabinet reshuffle before the Sinhala and Tamil New Year..."
