COLOMBO (News 1st) - The United National Party is the single largest party in Sri Lanka, and the main decision-making body of the party is the Working Committee. The party's policies and programmes are solely decided upon by the Working Committee. The actions and conduct of the United National Party leadership can be considered as the reason why the party is day by day moving towards the brink of destruction. From the recent incidents, it is now clear, the members of the UNP Working Committee are the ones who protect the party leadership.
