Darren Lehmann is to quit as head coach of Australia at the end of the current Test series against South Africa. Australia’s fourth Test against South Africa, which starts in Johannesburg on Friday, will be Lehmann’s final match in charge. Cricket Australia announced its Chief Executive James Sutherland would speak to media at 2.45 p.m. BST in Johannesburg following Lehmann’s resignation, The Guardian reports. The 48-year-old was cleared by a Cricket Australia investigation into the ball-tampering. Former skipper Steve Smith, batsmen David Warner and Cameron Bancroft were banned for their part in the scandal.
