Two arrested on suspicion of selling Ecstasy pills to school children

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two individuals were arrested on suspicion of selling ecstasy pills to school children and youth in Nochiyagama. According to the police, the hallucinogenic pills were taken into police custody when an individual tried to smuggle the pills into the Nochiyagama police station. When questioned the suspect revealed that he had obtained the pills from a dealer in Nochiyagama. Accordingly, a 21-year old who was in possession of 100 ecstasy pills was taken into custody. The two suspects are to be produced before the Thambuththegama Magistrate's Court.
