Television Presenter Ant McPartlin arrsted over drink-driving collision

Ant McPartlin, a TV presenter has been arrested on the suspicion of drink-driving after he met with a collision involving three vehicles in south-west London.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called to Lower Richmond Road in Mortlake at 15.29 local time yesterday (March 18).

The London Fire Brigade and the Ambulance Service also attended and a number of people were treated for minor injuries.

Police further stated that a 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene after failing a roadside breathalyzer test.

He was later taken to a south London police station for questioning before being released under investigation today (March 19).

The Met added that a child passenger in one of the cars was taken to hospital for a check-up as a precaution.
