New Justices of Peace for the Matara District appointed

COLOMBO (News 1^st) - The appointment letters to a group of new Justices of Peace for the Matara District were presented today (March 17). The event took place concurrent to MP Buddhika Pathirana's birthday at the Mahamanthinda Pirivena in Matara. 150 new Justice of Peace received appointment letters today (March 17). Expressing his views MP Buddika Pathirana stated that positions are given to them to serve the people temporarily and that during that period, they must work for the people keeping in mind the mandate and the responsibility. “I am giving 150 keys to the 150 individuals here.
